We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, talented, team-spirited and experienced forward thinking Clinician with excellent training and leadership qualities and a background in Primary Care delivering a quality, patient focused service.

You will be a key member of the Medical Directorate and will support the ongoing and evolving development of services, working with the Medical Director, Clinical Risk Office and Operations.  You will have a keen interest and experience in delivering Education, especially that of out of hours and acute Primary Care; you will support regular clinical case-based teaching sessions and be responsible for Shropdoc Education days.  You will be responsible for auditing GPs in relation to governance, quality assurance, care, and service provided, producing structured case feedback and dealing with complaint and incidents.  You will also be jointly responsible for ensuring policies and key clinical guidelines are up to date.  In addition the post-holder is required to carry out GP telephone consultation (triage) training sessions with GPs new to the organisation and co-ordinate Registrar recruitment, induction, support and training.

The Medical Directorate is collectively responsible for driving continuous improvement in the organisation, and developing the service operationally to meet both current and future demands.
