This varied and responsible job role is made up of three components:
Estates & Facilities: Reporting to the IT and Estates Manager, the Estates and Health & Safety (EH&S) Officer will be responsible for maintenance and facilities management across all sites. A key focus will be to implement high standards of repair, maintenance and compliance standards, across all sites within the Shropdoc Estates Portfolio.
Health & Safety: The EH&S Officer will be responsible for effective and efficient Health and Safety requirements across the organisation, ensuring compliance with policy and mandatory obligations, maintain regular review schedules and associated evidential documentation, conduct audits and assessments and produce regular status reports for the Executive.
Stock Control: The EH&S Officer will be responsible for maintaining adequate non-medical stock provisions across the estates portfolio including sufficient stock control and record keeping.
The post holder will be required to have a flexible outlook to workload in order to manage fluctuations and operational need and able to travel to bases within the Shropdoc portfolio as required (with the use of a Shropdoc car). You will already have over two year’s Senior Administration experience, gained in a similar role desirably, IOSH Managing Safely qualification and a full working knowledge of H&S requirements. You will have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent grade A-C or 4-9 including Maths and English. Business Administration level 3 qualification and stock control experience is desirable.
You must have excellent communication skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages including Excel. You must be a self-starter with the ability to prioritise and manage an ever changing work load as well as the ability to build and maintain great relationships throughout the organisation and externally.
