We are currently looking to recruit a talented and team spirited Relief Call Handler working within the Care Co-ordination Centre. 

This is a 22.5 hours per week contract, covering holidays and sickness over seven days a week including weekends,  which will include a mix of daytime, evening, some overnights  and Bank Holidays. You will receive a 30% uplift for evenings after 8pm and overnight until 6am including Saturdays and 60% uplift for Sunday shifts.  You will be given 7-14 days advanced notice regarding shifts, more where possible.

As part of the Care Co-ordination centre, you will be supporting a clinically led team whose main role is to coordinate and facilitate the care of patients being admitted to hospital from their GP surgeries. You will also act as a single point of contact for GP’s accessing emergency secondary care.

You will be expected to deliver an administration service with the highest of standards ensuring that a quality service is delivered to the business.

You must have a standard of education comparable to five GCSE’s or equivalent grade A-C or 4 - 9 including Maths and English, ECDL or equivalent experience, have an excellent telephone manner, be computer literate and dedicated to providing the very best patient experience. Previous call handling experience or customer service experience an advantage.

Full training will be given upon any offer of employment.
