Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioner

Full time working throughout our Out of Hours Urgent Care service in Shropshire/Powys while undertaking University and in house base training to MSc level.

Starting salary £37,750 rising to £44,660 per annum (37.5 average hours per week) on completion of MSc

We are looking to appoint Trainee Advanced Clinical Practitioners to join our established team of ACPs and UCPs working with support from our GP colleagues to see and treat a wide range of patients with undifferentiated diagnosis in a variety of Urgent Care settings, patient’s own home and via telephone triage.

You will undertake the MSc Advanced Clinical Practice over three years and will be supported to work with increasing levels of autonomy and critical decision making. You will provide expert clinical assessment, intervention, treatment and management of patients (including children) at an advanced level. You will collaborate with and be supported by our GP colleagues throughout your training period.

Working – daytime, evenings, weekends, overnights and bank holidays (with a 30% uplift from 8pm – 6am, all day Saturday and 60% uplift on Sunday and Bank Holidays)
