Shifts from 12 hours a week up to 30 hours per week on a four week rolling rota pattern. Flexibility required.

£9.31 per hour  with a 30% uplift for out of hours working after 8pm, overnight, and Saturdays,

60% uplift for working Bank Holidays and Sundays.

We are currently looking to recruit Patient Co-ordinators

You will be supporting a clinically lead team whose main role is to coordinate and facilitate the care of patients being admitted to hospital from their GP surgeries. You will also act as a single point of contact for GP’s accessing emergency secondary care.

You will be dealing directly with health care professionals and patients over the phone, via email and fax. You will be responsible for dealing with confidential patient information and ensuring all information entered into our systems is accurate.  To carrying out general administration duties.

You will receive incoming calls promptly and efficiently from Patients, Health Care Professionals and services, processing onto Shropdoc’s operational and clinical application (internal computerized database) or other as appropriate, in accordance with laid down guidelines, fast tracking to the appropriate health care professional or service.

You will also receive calls from members of the public, police and other government workers, assisting and directing them to the relevant department.

You will have 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, grade A-C / 4-9  be prepared to work days, evenings, weekends or overnights, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven administration experience, previous Patient/Customer service experience in a similar background or call centre environment.

You will be patient focused, organised, a team player and be able to work on your own initiative along with being reliable, confidential, empathetic and self motivated.
