This is an exciting opportunity to join our rota team who are responsible for ensuring that all rotas are complete and published in accordance with laid down timescales. You will be working closely with the Rota Team and Senior Operations Manager to ensure appropriate planning and effective day to day staff cover. Duties will include assigning staff to cover rota shortfalls, along with liaising with Line Managers and Cluster Managers to effectively manage staff annual leave and sickness absences.
You will provide support within the team covering Call Centre, GP, Urgent Care Practitioners and Non Clinical rotas along with general administration support.
Experience of working with a computerised rostering system would be an advantage.
You will need experience in organising rotas, working towards tight deadlines and working within a team. You should have an awareness of HR issues and working time directives.
You will be friendly and approachable and able to deal with any conflict in a calm and efficient manner. You will enjoy working within a busy team and be able to use your initiative when necessary.
You don’t need to have worked in healthcare before as long as you possess the above qualities and are willing and eager to learn new skills. We will provide in-house training and support.
