A great opportunity has arisen to join our rural GP practice. We are looking for an enthusiastic, experienced, and motivated GP who is looking for an opportunity to come and work for us as a salaried GP at Presteigne Medical Centre.

There is also the opportunity for the successful candidate to be the Clinical Lead for the GP Practice with dedicated time to do this, who will be involved in shaping new ways of providing primary care.

A good knowledge of the National Health Service General Medical Services Contract requirements with a good understanding of Clinical Governance is essential. Working as a salaried general practitioner provides benefits including enhanced job security, paid annual leave, CPD leave.

  • EMIS IT Clinical System
  • We are part of the Mid Powys GP Collaborative, feeding into the Mid Cluster
  • Based in a Medical Centre just across the Welsh Border in a rural location with onsite parking
  • Our clinical model is 2 GPs, Prescribing Advanced Nurse, Urgent Care Practitioner, Practice Nurse, HCA and Phlebotomist  
  • Face to Face GP Consultations are 15 minutes
  • Mixture of Telephone and Face to Face Consultations
  • Experienced Administration Team

Competitive salary iaw the Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration Body (DDRB) pay range for salaried GPs.
