Shropdoc is looking for a dedicated HR Workforce & Compliance Advisor to help us continue delivering exceptional healthcare services. .  This position plays a crucial role in ensuring we comply with regulatory requirements, employment law and best practice.   It is an exciting time to be joining Shropdoc and the successful candidate will be working closely with the Head of HR and the HR team, where your experience will be making a real organisational difference.

We provide 24/7 urgent primary care services for patients across Powys, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Lancashire, including out of hours service GP, care coordination, single point of access in Shropshire, and an oncology advice line.  We care about our team of over 200 colleagues. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated HR Workforce & Compliance Advisor to join our HR team.

 

Job Details:   The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring compliance programs to mitigate regulatory risks and enhance operational effectiveness. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.  You will be involved with the onboarding of GP’s under the IR35 Regulations as well as supporting the Head of HR with updating systems and reporting. 

 

The Person:  You will be able to initiate and facilitate change in a positive way, whilst operating in an environment where projects may be complex.  You will be innovative, collaborative and have a can-do attitude, and will be able to naturally build good working relationships with the workforce. You can demonstrable knowledge and understanding of operating within a regulatory framework.  You will have good experience of robust recruitment processes and be able to hold staff accountable to robust recruitment processes. 

 

Essentially you will have:

  • a CIPD Qualification to level 5 or above. 
  • proven experience developing and implement compliance programs and controls.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • experience of recruitment and onboarding.
  • strong IT skills, with experience of developing and implementing systems.
  • Some understanding of IR35 Regulations. 
  • Able to demonstrate good employee relations experience.
