We provide 24/7 urgent primary care services for patients across Powys, Shropshire, Telford and Wrekin, and Lancashire, including out of hours service GP, care coordination, single point of access in Shropshire, and an oncology advice line.  We care about our team of over 200 colleagues. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a dedicated HR Workforce & Compliance Advisor to join our HR team.

Job Details:   We seek to appoint an experienced HR professional to provide comprehensive HR support ensuring we are compliant in all areas.  The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our HR function, including generalist HR support, recruitment and onboarding policy management, training and development and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including but not limited to DBS mangement, right to work in the UK, driving license renewals, IR35, professional registration and revalidation, statutory and mandatory training, recruitment, policy review etc. 

The Person:  You will have good experience of recruitment processes, and an understanding of IR35 as you will be responsible for overseeing and onboarding staff and GP Members.  Essentially you will have:

  • a CIPD Qualification to level 5 or above. 
  • proven experience in HR, particularly a compliance environment.
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • experience of recruitment and onboarding.
  • strong IT skills, with experience of developing systems.
  • experience of coordinating statutory and mandatory training programmes.
  • some exposure to employee relation matters, and is someone looking to develop their HR Advisor skills.
