Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 pro rata (depending on qualifications and experience)

Location: Office (at our Head Office at Longbow, Shrewsbury)

Duration: 12 months fixed term to cover maternity leave (this may be amended, with the relevant contractual         notice)

Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (hours and days to be agreed flexibility can be offered around hours worked to suit you and the business)

The Role:

An exciting opportunity has arisen within our HR Department for a fixed term HR Advisor (maternity leave cover) to join our team in supporting the organisation with a full range of HR activities. Reporting to a HR Business Partner, the successful candidate will have a generalist HR background and be able to demonstrate experience of supporting managers in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

 

The successful candidate should have the following knowledge and skills:

- Hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or above

- Passionate about coaching and developing staff and managers, to consistently deliver service excellence, governance and compliance

- Methodical, with a high level of attention to detail, whilst working at pace

- Experience with HR software systems

- Be energetic, articulate, a good communicator and a self-starter

- Good IT skills, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint

- Broad working knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
